One of the reasons I’m doing my 90-day CBD oil experiment is to know for sure whether or not CBD oil is one of the best post-workout recovery methods.
So, for the last several days, I’ve gone through my regular training routine (along with rest days). Now, I can start to feel that there is a difference in my workout recovery.
Day 11 was a rest day. Day 12 I did squats, dumbbell deadlifts & other challenging leg exercises, plus I ran about 10 minutes on the way to the gym + the return.
On day 13 I woke with sore leg muscles, but little pain in my right knee from chondromalacia. This was a rest day. I worked at my desk all day, and the knee pain didn’t flare up.

I think taking 20 mg of CBD oil for workout recovery is starting to work!

Day 14 I did shoulders, and had minimal soreness the following day.
Day 15 I took a 20-mile bike ride, and ran a few sprints while shooting the lacrosse ball at the goal. Luckily, no knee pain as a result.
Day 16 was a day of rest. Day 17 I did a chest/triceps/lats workout at the gym. I haven’t felt any unusual discomfort. I just feel like a got a strong workout in.
You can read more here about how athletes get excellent results when they take CBD oil to recover from workouts.
I’m beginning to see that it does work to take 20 mg of CBD oil daily for joint and muscle pains resulting from vigorous exercise. I take 10 mg before my workout, and another 10 mg of CBD oil before dinner.
In addition to 20 mg of CBDPure 600 CBD oil, I take a turmeric/curcumin supplement because I read that it makes CBD more bioavailable, and that turmeric helps the body assimilate cannabidiol more effectively.
I also take L-Arginine 1000mg tablets which are NOS Nitric Oxide boosters to take pre-workout to get blood flowing to the muscles. I suppose they might help the CBD oil work its way around my system too.
I think in order to get the most out of taking CBD oil for post-workout recovery…I’ll have to take 20 mg of CBD oil everyday and never stop for it to be a true game changer when it comes to post-workout recovery. Especially because I want to be able to exercise like this well into my 50s…so CBD oil is a worthy investment.
Taking CBD oil orally is important. Also, for joint pain & as a post-workout recovery method, I think a topical CBD is a great addition to just rub into sore joints.
I believe that using CBD oil to prevent joint pain from exercise, overuse, age, and repetitive motions will take a few weeks to see the astonishing results I see other people report. Stay tuned to this experiment to know how taking CBD oil as a post-workout recovery method works during the first 90 days of use.
Please leave a comment if you use CBD oil to recover from workouts, and have any tips for people…
